American Invented New Equipment for Safe Processing of Aquatic Products

The United States announced the invention of a new device for the scientific reduction of surface and food-derived bacteria in the processing of aquatic products. The device is named the SKABAC system and eliminates food-derived bacteria mainly through pH-controlled water surface cleaning and cell matrix calculations, cell respiration and sleep processes. The system's packaging technology attaches a layer of protective packaging to the product, which can serve to improve the environment, prevent further contamination of the food, and extend the shelf life. The only raw material for processing aquatic products through the SARAC system is the “food disinfectant” based on water and antibacterial substances. This disinfectant is colored, airless, and odorless, and has been approved by the FDA. It is expected that this technology will be implemented in 2004.
