Timely harvesting is the key link in the production of high quality and high yield of Hericium. When the fruiting body grows to 89, when the spear grows to about 0.5 cm, the spores can be harvested when they have not been ejected in large quantities. At this point, the fresh weight of the mushroom reaches its maximum, and the flavor is good. For example, if the harvest is too early, the yield is low; if it is too late, the fruit body has enhanced fiber sensation, thick old tissue, and very bitter taste. The method of harvesting is to directly remove the fruiting bodies and remove the old mycelium on the surface of the culture medium with a shovel. After harvesting, the culture materials should be stopped for 2-3 days, and when the buds are re-differentiated, the previous stage of management is repeated. The time between the two tidal mushrooms is 10-15 days, generally 3-5 tidal mushrooms can be harvested, and the output is concentrated in the first 3 tidal mushrooms.
The main processing methods include drying, salting, irrigation and medicinal processing.
