According to the research and development staff, like the two eyes of the human, the system has two sets of independent imaging chips, which can simultaneously capture images of two angles, and then process through the camera host and present the stereo images on the 3D monitor. Realistic stereoscopic images can help doctors more accurately determine the hierarchical relationship between adjacent organs and tissues in the patient and perform tissue separation and excision, which helps to improve the efficiency of surgery.
Professor Yao Shuzhong, director of the Department of Gynecology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhongshan Medical University in Guangdong, is looking forward to 3D technology. He told reporters that at present, endoscopic surgery in China uses flat-panel monitors, while flat-panel monitors cannot provide stereoscopic and spatial vision. Therefore, clinicians often need to practice a lot of exercises to master laparoscopic techniques. 3D technology can completely display the stereoscopic image of the surgical field without changing the surgical habits and steps, which can improve the operation effect, save the operation time, and bring convenience to the remote consultation, surgery observation and teaching. To shorten the doctor's learning curve.
"The application of 3D technology will be an innovation in the development of clinical surgery in China. In the next 1-2 years, Chinese laparoscopic surgery will enter the 3D era." Yao Shuzhong said.
