When clodinafop-propargyl is used too much, it will cause phytotoxicity to the wheat seedlings, and the greater the dosage is, the heavier the injury will be. In the peak period of wheat seedling tillage, when the growth is normal, the dosage of pure clodinafop-propargyl ester is less than 6g, which is safe for wheat seedlings; the use of pure medicinal mu exceeds 6g, and the safety of wheat seedlings will be reduced, which will cause the growth of wheat seedlings to be inhibited; When the amount of mu is more than 7.5 g, the growth of wheat seedlings is obviously inhibited, which can cause the yellow leaves of wheat seedlings to appear yellow. When the amount of pure mu is more than 9 grams, the wheat seedlings will be severely poisoned and serious seedling emergence. The wheat leaves will be severely yellow and the root growth will be obstructed. When wheat seedlings are damaged by drought, water stains, and other hazards, the tolerance to clodinafop-propargyl esters will be reduced. The use of wheat seedlings in the normal dose may be adversely affected, and sometimes severe phytotoxicity may occur, even resulting in dead seedlings.

The use of 8% clodinafop-propargyl emulsifiable concentrate 160 ml per mu, equivalent to 12.8 grams of pure drug per acre, the amount of medication is large, easy to cause serious injury to the wheat seedlings, and even die. Breeding the victim wheat seedlings with 0.136% erythrazine WP, humic acid and other fertilizers can promote the recovery of the wheat seedlings.
