If the temperature difference is too small, it will seriously affect the growth and flowering of Dendrobium.
Water properly. Dendrobium needs plenty of water, but avoid too much moisture. Wet growth can lead to poor plant growth, rot and even death. Deciduous sarcophagus can be kept dry and waterless in winter, but the air humidity of potted materials should not be too low. Evergreen species If the greenhouse temperature in winter is high, it is necessary to maintain sufficient moisture.
Spray regularly. In the sunny and hot dry season, water should always be sprayed around the plants to increase the air humidity. Humidity during the rainy season can stop the spray, and be careful not to let the flowerpot water.
Rational fertilization. Shi Zhilan prefers to apply thin and fat fertilizers, applying a decomposed cake fertilizer every 7-10 days during growth, or applying 0.1% all-element compound fertilizer out of the roots. When deciduous species are forced to sleep due to low temperatures during dormancy and when the evergreen species is forced to dormancy, fertilization should be stopped.
