Analysis of the reasons why the light is not lit

1. The life of the xenon lamp is up. This is the most common. When the xenon lamp reaches its end of life, it usually has the following signals:

(1) The self-checking system detects the xenon lamp energy. Each instrument that uses xenon lamps generally has its own xenon lamp energy detection. Different types and brands of instruments have different reference standards for detection, if the detection energy is low. Explain that the xenon lamp is coming to life.

(2) The glass jacket turns black (check or replace when the lamp is off and cooled)

(3) Non-linear phenomena that have never appeared before in the analysis method (the absorption rate of light is not linear)

(4) The baseline drift is severe under normal settings

(5) No peak during normal injection

(6) Check the accumulated usage time of the xenon lamp. If the usage time is long, the warranty time of the xenon lamp is exceeded, and the above abnormal phenomenon occurs.
2. The aging of the optical path system may also cause the xenon lamp to fail to light. Generally, an instrument needs to check the optical path system within 2 years. The aging of the optical path system will seriously affect the energy detection.

3. The power plug on the power supply and xenon lamp is loose, and the line is not working properly.

4. The instrument board is broken.
5. There is a problem with the laboratory supply voltage (this is rare, there will be a regulator in the general laboratory)

6. The temperature drops suddenly, there is no air conditioning in the room, especially in the late life of the xenon lamp, it is often turned on to light up; indoor humidity will also affect the use of the xenon lamp and the normal operation of the instrument.

7. The power supply is used for a long time, aging, and can not meet the ignition voltage of the xenon lamp. The power board needs to be replaced.

8. Without UPS, the mains voltage is lower than 198V, which is common in older machines such as Waters484;
