Based on the experience of various regions, there are several types of wheat-based interplanting multiple cropping modes:

1. Wheat grain nesting, multiple cropping. There are three forms of grain cropping, wheat grain intercropping and wheat grain striping.

(1) Wheat grain crops are replanted. That is, two cropping systems are implemented each year, and autumn crops are planted after wheat is harvested. Most of the provinces in South Central South China adopt this model.

(2) Wheat grain interplanting. Wheat and corn are interplanted. Under the premise of guaranteeing that the wheat will not be reduced in the same year, it can increase corn production by 10%-20%. This model is suitable for the wheat-free period of 210-230 days in our province and the wheat area with a accumulated temperature above 4700°C.

(3) Intercropping of wheat grain ribbons. Most of the planting methods use 1.3-1.7 meters as a planting belt, 0.7-1 meter of wheat land, 4-6 rows of wheat, and 0.6-0.7 meters of empty intercropping, and interplanting 40-50 days before harvesting. Autumn crops are generally dominated by corn, and crops such as sorghum and sweet potatoes can also be planted. This method has slightly reduced production compared to wheat sowing, but the interplanting corn and other crops have great potential for increasing production and income. This kind of planting pattern is “mainly based on autumn, ensuring autumn and contending with the summer”, which makes it possible to turn two areas that were difficult to ripen into two ripe crops. It is suitable for the cooler Gandong region (including the north of Langfang, Tang and Qin all ) Promotion.

2. Intercropping wheat, autumn grain and green manure. It is based on the interplanting of wheat and autumn grains to increase green manure crops and realize the combination of land use and land conservation. This model is suitable for production conditions and production levels are low, or a large number of people, farming extensive areas, the development of green manure crops as an effective way to fertilize the soil. There are two kinds of grain and one fertilizer, two kinds of grain and two kinds of fertilizer in two ways.

(1) Two grains and one fertilizer. It is suitable for development in areas where there is severe drought, concentrated summer rain, and lack of irrigation conditions. Most interplanting methods are 2.5 meters for a planting belt, wheat occupies 1.7 meters, sowing 10-12 rows, corn covering 0.7-0.8 meters, interplanting 2 rows of corn in mid-May. After wheat is harvested, legume green legume crops such as Sesbania and beans are replanted. The three green manures turn over before planting wheat to benefit the land.

(2) Two grains and two fertilizers. This model needs to have two conditions: First, the heat can produce a certain amount of green and green bodies, and it can also turn over timely autumn grain crops. Second, there must be a certain amount of rainfall to ensure normal sowing, or there are irrigated conditions. 3. Wheat, oil interplanting. Mainly refers to wheat, peanut interplanting. This is a planting pattern in the flower production area that captures both grain and oil harvests. In order to solve the problem of grain and oil competition and long-term continuous cropping of peanuts, Hebei's Jidong Flower Production District also created wheat, oil, and bean planting patterns, namely wheat, peanut, and soybean belt rotations. In areas with poor soil and water resources, peanuts are used as the main belt, with a bandwidth of 1 meter, ridging and ditching, and peanuts covering 0.7 meters in size.
