Growing environment
Lanxi has unique natural conditions for the growth of tea trees. The annual average temperature here is 15.1°C, and the general year is between 14.5°C and 15.5°C. Starting in late March, the average daily temperature reached 10°C, which lasted for more than 220 days and did not decline until late November. The effective accumulated temperature is 4864°C, 80% of the year is 4683°C. The average monthly temperature from April to November is 20.7°C, the hottest average temperature in July is 27.7°C, and the coldest January average temperature is 1.6°C. Lanxi's rainfall is abundant. The average annual rainfall is 1134.7mm, and most of it is concentrated in the tea season. The number of hours of illumination in April-November was 1592.5 hours (accounting for 73% of the total hours of the year). The amount of solar radiation was 89.25 kcal/cm2, and the effective radiation amount was 43.74 kcal/cm2. These natural conditions are all suitable for the growth and reproduction of tea plants. Lanxi's soil is mostly yellow and black sandy loam, deep loose, more humus content, higher fertility, PH value between 4-6.5. Traditionally, tea growers have chosen to plant tea in high mountains at an altitude of 300 to 800 meters. Here, the mountains are fluctuating, the forests are dense, the vegetation is abundant, the rainfall is abundant, the clouds are diffuse, and the air is moist (relative humidity more than 75%). The sun is late and early, and the light is not strong. The temperature difference between day and night is relatively large. Tea tree buds have slow growth, strong tenderness, and more hypertrophy, and more effective substance accumulation. As the people often say, "There is good tea in the mountains and clouds." In particular, Lanxi is located at latitudes 31o431 to 32o371 north latitude, and the average annual temperature is relatively low, which is beneficial to the synthesis and accumulation of nitrogenous compounds such as amino acids and caffeine. This is exactly what can be indispensable for frying green tea. Historically, Wuyun (Cheyun, Jiyun, Yunwu, Tianyun, Lianyun), Liangtan (Black Dragon Pond, Bailongtan), and Yizhai (Hejiazhai), which are longing for many people, have such a unique ecological environment that is uniquely endowed by nature. The Lanxi Maofeng produced by the company is rich in effective substances and is highly aromatic and delicious. According to the China Tea Institute, Lanxi Maofeng has amino acid content of 3.62-4.34%, caffeine 4.06-4.73%, catechin 117.71-146.38mg/g, and tea polyphenol 20.02-21.87%. Tea extracts, generally about 43%, a high of 46.5%, higher than the national standard ≥ 39%. Therefore, the Lanxi Maofeng has a rich and fresh taste, and it has been brewed many times. The fragrance still exists and the charm is attractive.
