1 According to the requirements of GB/T 450, cut the sample of 150mm*150mm and mark the front and back. At least 3 samples are required for each sheet of paper. Wear gloves to avoid direct contact with the test surface.
2 Adjust the width of the scribe to match the paper you are testing. For example, 40-50 grams of paper is 0.50 mm, and 60 grams of paper is 0.75 mm. Filled with standard ink.
3 Place the sample on the glass plate, place the scriber at an angle of 45 ° to the glass plate , and quickly draw a straight line (should be more than 10 cm in one second).
4 If the ink does not diffuse, it is necessary to constantly adjust (increase) the width of the pen until it spreads or penetrates. If diffusion or penetration occurs, the width of the pen should be constantly adjusted (reduced) until no diffusion or penetration occurs.
5 After the sample is naturally air-dried, it is compared with a transparent standard width sheet (no 1.5 cm for each sample head and tail), and the width of the line zui which does not diffuse or penetrate on each side is the sizing degree of the paper.
